Short term work teaching English

I would like to come to take a year off work to come and teach in Thailand, particularly Chiang Mai. I am an experienced and passionate teacher and will have completed a TESOL course by the end of the year. Initially I would like to come over on a short term contract, test the waters so to speak. What is the liklihood of getting a short term (3 months approximately) contract?
